Taiwanese style seafood noodles
These Taiwanese style seafood noodles are all about depth of flavour with minimal effort. The trick? Cooking everything in one pot so the noodles soak up all that rich seafood taste.
Paired with Chilli Chan’s XO Mushroom Noodles, this dish delivers umami, warmth, and a subtle ocean sweetness in every bite.
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Serves: 2 portions
Ingredients:
- 2 packs Chilli Chan’s XO Mushroom Noodles
- 200–300 g mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels)
- 3–4 slices ginger
- 1–2 garlic cloves, lightly crushed
- Salt, to taste

1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add ginger and garlic.
- Add the seafood and cook for 2–3 minutes until just done. Remove the seafood and set aside, keeping the water.
- In the same water, cook the noodles according to the package instructions so they absorb all the flavour.
- Transfer the noodles into bowls and mix with the sauces from the pack.
- Top with the cooked seafood.
- Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil.
