Introducing Eyan, the founder behind Chilli Chan’s. Born during the COVID lockdown, Eyan’s craving for home-cooked meals inspired her to experiment with her mother’s recipes, leading to the creation of her signature crispy chilli oil. After sharing it with friends and family, the response was overwhelming, prompting Eyan to turn her passion into a business. Balancing her corporate job at Adidas alongside her growing venture, Eyan eventually made the bold decision to fully dedicate herself to Chilli Chan’s, marking the beginning of a new chapter to bring delicious vegan Chinese flavours to your table!
Eyan’s Journey
2021: A Flavourful Beginning
During COVID, Eyan began making her mum’s crispy chili oil at home, missing the comforting flavours of Hong Kong and Taiwan. After sharing it with friends, they encouraged her to start selling it. She launched a webshop and began supplying small stores.
2023: From Corporate to Culinary
In 2023, Eyan took a leap of faith, leaving her corporate job at Adidas to pursue her passion full-time. Her brand grew to over 200 stores, introduced sun-dried knife-cut noodles, and launched cooking workshops to share her love for Taiwanese food and culture.
2025: A Major Milestone and beyond
By February 2025, Eyan secured her first major retail launch at Albert Heijn in the Netherlands, expanding to 600+ stores across the EU & UK. With plans to grow further, the brand is set to introduce more exciting products in the near future.
