Cooking Time: 25 - 30 minutes
Serves: 6 portions
Ingredients:
- 500 grams self raising flour
- 500 grams Greek yoghurt
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons Chilli Chan’s Hot Honey
- 2 table spoons BBQ sauce
- Tomato sauce (could be pasta or pizza sauce)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Jamaican jerk spices
- 250 grams shredded cheese
Equipment:
- Oven (200 celsius)
- Towel
- 2 bowls
- Baking sheet
- Baking Tray
- Wooden spoon
- Dutch oven / pan
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough : add 500 grams of self raising flour and 500 grams of Greek yoghurt together in a bowl
- With a wooden spoon mix the flour and yoghurt until its semi mixed
- Then you knead the rest with your hands until its well mixed together, doesn't have to have a super smooth surface, just have a look similar to pizza dough.
- Let the dough set/rest with a towel over the bowl for about 5 to 10 minutes
- While that's resting, heat a pan with some oil to cook the chicken in
- Add some salt, pepper and spices to the chicken
- Cook the chicken until it's done
- Shred the chicken with two forks until it's nicely shredded and add the BBQ sauce and Chilli Chan's hot honey to it
- Get your dough and roll it out onto the baking sheet, you can add more flour to the dough to roll in, incase the dough is sticky
- Add the dough to the baking tray when it's rolled out
- Add the pasta/pizza sauce
- Add some cheese to the pizza (about half)
- Add the hot honey BBQ chicken to the pizza (spread it evenly around) and add more cheese to cover the top
- Put the pizza in the oven at 200 degree celsius for about 25 to 30 minutes
- Take out the oven, let it cool off just a bit
- Drizzle some more hot honey and BBQ sauce on top and enjoy!
TIP ‼️
- You can always add more BBQ sauce and hot honey to your liking, I used the measurements mentioned above but this can always be adjusted
- I used Jamaican jerk spices however this is completely optional. you can spice the chicken with any spices you prefer
- If you do not have self raising flour, you can add normal flour with a teaspoon of baking powder instead
