Spicy Silken Tofu 🌶️

Chilled tofu meets a fiery soy-chilli sauce that’s savoury, tangy, and just the right amount of numbing. It’s the perfect no-cook dish for hot days — silky, refreshing, and ready in minutes. Serve it solo or as a side to cut through richer dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 block silken tofy 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Chan's crispy chilli oil 
  • Half tsp sesame oil
  • Half tsp of sweetener of your choice 
  • 1 sliced green onion

 

Instructions

  1. Carefully remove the silken tofu from its packaging and place it on a shallow plate.
  2. Using a knife, gently cut shallow slits across the top of the tofu to help the sauce soak in.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Chilli Chan's crispy chilli oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, and minced garlic.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the tofu, letting it seep into the slits.
  5. Top with sliced green onions.
  6. Serve cold, either on its own or with warm steamed rice.
