Extra spice XO Garlic Noodles
When time is short but you still want something bold, this is the recipe to make. These XO Garlic Noodles come together in just five minutes using Chilli Chan’s XO Mushroom Noodles and are cooked entirely in Chilli Chan’s Chilli Oil for deep heat and savoury flavour.
Salty, garlicky, slightly sweet, glossy and comforting. One pan. One bowl. Maximum flavour.
Time: 5-7 minutes
Serves: 1 portion
Ingredients:
- 1 pack Chilli Chan’s XO Mushroom Noodles
- 1/4 cup reserved noodle water
- Garlic, to taste
- 2 tbsp Chilli Chan’s Chilli Oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar (optional but recommended)
How to make:
- Cook the XO Mushroom Noodles according to the package instructions. Before draining, reserve 1/4 cup of the noodle water.
- Heat Chilli Chan’s Chilli Oil in a pan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, sugar if using, and the reserved noodle water. Let it bubble briefly.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss until glossy and fully coated.
- Finish with an extra drizzle of Chilli Chan’s Chilli Oil for extra heat.
